Choising right keyword for new domain name
Let`s get back to keyword research tutorial (home page in this blog) and start new research, but this time will search for keyword that have:
  • less than 1 million results in quotes
  • less than 40k results in title
  • less than 40k results in url
  • more than 1000 and up to 50k monthly searches
Or keyword with bigger competition than fist one (go to home page to see).

Let`s go forward! 
Step one:

keyword research - I think to open social network site and will need to related keyword so I`m going to Google keyword tool and search for "social network".

Important!!!
Don`t forget to check [Exact] box on the left!!!

Now will look for some good related keywords, that pass on our criteria.

The social network streaming looks good - Over 27k global monthly searches, low competition and good CPC rate. It is about the social network streaming movie and maybe is not best choice, but is still related to my niche so let`s move on.

 Only 120 000 results in quotes - this is less than 1 million and this is perfect.
 Only 18 500 results in title - less than 40 000 results is very good.
Only 15 200 results in url - less than 40 000 and more than perfect for me.

Step 2: 
I just go Google and search for my keyword. I see that haven`t thesocialnetworkstreaming.com in top 10, so maybe it`s free. How to understand if this domain is free? Easy !!! Just go Godaddy and search.

Well,  thesocialnetworkstreaming.com wasn`t available, because I buy it before photo. 


Now I have domain. I host the domain and I install my social network script.

The best and only working domain names for this strategy are .com ,  .org , .net and for most of the cases .biz. The .com domains works the best, so if your keyword is already taken for com,net and org domains you can try : your-keyword.com, yourkeywords.com , (in;from;buy;best)yourkeyword.com .....
The best practice for this strategy is WordPress - easy to install and for SEO optimization.

Now I have the  thesocialnetworkstreaming.com domain, hosed and installed.
